The sparemint update manager is a new GEM/TOS application used for interacting from your Atari with the sparemint site. This program will basically be an automated shell because a lot of the package tracking work will be done on the server side (this is a tentative decision).

The Sparemint Update Manager (SUM) is currently in a low-functionality state, but it should build and run If you want to assist development or check out the source as it goes you will have to check it out from CVS. Please use the following CVS commands to download the source

$ export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.atari-source.com:/var/cvs
$ cvs login
When prompted for a password, just press enter
$ cvs -z3 co sum

And it should download the latest version of sparemint update manager and put it in it's own folder
